Our photocell sensor offers a dusk-to-dawn function, automatically turning the light on at night and off during the day. This convenient feature provides security lighting at night without the need to manually operate the switch, saving you time and effort. Additionally, it helps avoid wasting electricity by preventing the lights from being left on during the daytime.

The photocell sensor is UL-listed and features an IP65 waterproof design, protecting it against weather elements such as rain and dust. Installation is straightforward, with a screw thread that can be placed in the knockout hole and secured with a rubber gasket and zinc alloy lock-nut. The swivel base allows for easy positioning, ensuring the light is focused exactly where it's needed.

To prevent accidental triggering, the photocell sensor includes a 30-120 second time delay feature. This helps avoid the light turning off due to a passing animal, car headlights, or lightning. The sensor operates on an input voltage of AC 100-277V, 50/60Hz, with a threaded diameter of 1.06 inches and an on/off light level of 10-20Lx and 30-60Lx, respectively.

This versatile photocell sensor can be used to control a wide range of outdoor lighting applications, including area lights, post lights, porch lights, yard lights, floodlights, entry lights, driveway and walkway lighting, with a maximum power of 500W and a maximum current of 5A.

In the event of a breaker or fuse blowing when power is connected, there are a few potential causes and solutions to consider. If the load exceeds the breaker rating, the solution is to reduce the load to within the breaker's capacity. If the light is blinking or always turning on at night/day, it could be due to improper wiring of the photocell or too much light striking the photocell. The solutions are to recheck the wiring to ensure it matches the wire diagram and to reorient or relocate the photocell.

If the load stays on, it could be caused by low line voltage, an unsuitable photocell voltage rating, or an overload. The solutions are to check the supply voltage, replace the photocell with the correct voltage, or replace the photocell or connect it within the rated load.

Finally, if the load stays off, it could be due to a burned-out lamp or ballast, high line voltage, or an unsuitable photocell voltage rating. The solutions are to replace the lamp and ballast, check the supply voltage, and replace the photocell with the correct voltage.
